Calculator state
Your current and proposed sizes are encoded in the page URL so you can bookmark or share a comparison. The URL is created and read in your browser. When you open a comparison link, the full address, including the sizes in it, is requested from the host like any other page.
Google Analytics
FitMyTires uses Google Analytics on its production domains to measure sanitized page paths, page type, public content identifiers, Web Vitals, navigation, and product interactions such as calculator updates, unit or visualizer changes, setup swaps, resets, shares, and related-comparison visits.
Calculator changes are reported only as broad result buckets and stable control names. FitMyTires does not send calculator query parameters, exact calculator inputs, user-entered free text, email addresses, a user ID, or advertising-personalization signals.
If you arrive through a link tagged with campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, or utm_content), those parameters may be kept in the page URL sent to Google Analytics so we can see which links bring visitors. Every other query parameter, including calculator inputs, is removed.
Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and may process technical data such as IP address, device, browser, and referring site. Google signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the site configuration. Google's processing is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in the site's Google Analytics property. Aggregated reports can remain available after event-level data expires.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which adds its Web Analytics script to pages. It does not set cookies. It reports aggregated visit and performance measurements, such as page views, page addresses, referring sites, browser and device type, country, and page-load timing.
Advertising
FitMyTires does not show ads and does not use affiliate links.
Hosting logs
Infrastructure providers may process limited technical request data, such as IP address, browser type, the requested URL, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the service. Calculator query parameters are excluded from the site's Google Analytics page-view and interaction events.
